On October 19th, the Green Hope Movement team, now around 15 members strong, gathered at the Sunset Recycling Center for their monthly recycling effort, raising funds to support local children’s charities and FYLA in Africa.
On October 19th, the Green Hope Movement team met at the Sunset Recycling Center for our monthly recycling initiative. Members collected cans, plastic bottles, and glass items donated by the community and carefully sorted them into their respective bins for processing. The proceeds from these efforts are accumulated over time and donated to both local and international charities, with a focus on organizations that support children in foster care and underprivileged communities worldwide.
This month’s event was especially meaningful, as our team has grown significantly since the previous month. The increase in participation allowed us to process more recyclables and strengthened our collective commitment to environmental sustainability and social impact. We are proud of the progress we’ve made and look forward to welcoming new volunteers who share our passion for making a difference. Together, we aim to expand our impact, support more charitable causes, and create a cleaner, more hopeful future—both in our local community and around the globe.
